Simply follow the steps below to establish gas service:   Contact Austell Gas by phone at 770-948-1841 or visit our main office.   Social security number required to establish new service.   A minimum $100.00 deposit or a letter of good credit from another utility company showing 12-months of satisfactory payment record to the account.   Correct address of the property service is being applied for.   Previous owner or tenants name (if available) Refund of Deposit:   When a customer terminates gas service, the deposit will be applied towards any current or past due balance.  Outstanding credit balance will be refunded to the customer.   After being a customer for 24 months and having established satisfactory credit rating with the Gas System, the deposit will be credited to the first billing after the 24 months.
